CustomerUserSearchLimit extends result limits in Customer User Management and customer/customer-user relationships in both directions. When supplying the package, we size the limits for your customer-user records with additional headroom. You continue using the existing Znuny interfaces.

Customer users ↔ customers: manage relationships
Customer usersFictional example data
CustomersFictional example data
Relationships work in both directions: select a customer user to assign additional customers, or select a customer to manage its additional customer-user relationships.
Simplified illustration based on the module interface. All data is fictional; this is not a live feature.
Result limits sized for your customer records
Customer users are individual contacts with an account. Customers are the corresponding records, such as companies. The module covers both sides of the relationship and their result lists.
| View | Result limit | What changes |
|---|---|---|
| Customer User Management | Sized for your customer-user records, with additional headroom | The result limit of existing data sources is configured for your requirements when the package is supplied. |
| Customer-user ↔ customer overview | Appropriate display limit per list | Both customer-user and customer records are taken into account. |
| Editing existing relationships | Select additional records | The adjusted limit applies to relationships in both directions. |
When is the extension useful?
When result lists are cut off too early, relevant contacts or customer records may be missing. Adjusted limits let you review more records in the existing views. For large datasets, narrowing the selection with a search term remains useful.
How is the result limit chosen?+
We size the limit for your customer-user records, allowing additional headroom for growth. We also consider your data sources and system performance. The appropriate values are agreed when the package is supplied.
Are customers assigned automatically?+
No. You still select relationships and save them through the existing Znuny administration interface. The module does not automatically create accounts or relationships.
Why are fewer results shown than the limit allows?+
The limit is not a fixed result count. Search terms, existing records and connected data sources determine the selection. Records already linked through the primary customer ID are not offered again as additional relationships.
What information do we need for setup?+
Tell us how many customer users you manage and which data sources you use. This helps us choose the appropriate result limit with additional headroom.
Technical background
The extension covers CustomerUserSearchListLimit for existing sources CustomerUser and CustomerUser1 through CustomerUser10, as well as display limits in AdminCustomerUserCustomer. Other data-source settings are retained. Search and display limits are coordinated when we configure the package.
