Open administration functions directly in Znuny

This overview lets supervisors open the functions you have enabled for them, such as templates, signatures and automatic replies. Depending on your configuration, supervisors can also manage user accounts and passwords and assign roles.

Templates, signatures, attachments and automatic replies can be used by multiple queues. Supervisors with access to these functions can edit this content for other queues too.

Agent Supervisor

Delegate routine tasks and keep permissions under central control

Team leads and queue administrators can carry out selected administrative tasks directly in Znuny. Your administrators decide which functions are available, which user accounts can be managed and which roles can be assigned. Full administrator access is no longer required for these tasks.

User accounts	Maintain approved accounts and assign or remove permitted roles.	Protected administrator, system and own accounts are excluded. Role definitions cannot be created or edited here.
Reply templates and content	Maintain templates, signatures, automatic replies and attachments, including the available queue and template assignments.	Editing is not limited to the supervisor’s own queue. Changes can also affect content used by other queues.
Local accounts and passwords	Create local accounts or manage passwords where configured.	Only with supported local database authentication, not LDAP or SSO password management. These features must be explicitly enabled.

You control access permissions

Staff need a Znuny agent account and membership of the supervisor group. You decide which functions they can use and which networks allow access, such as your company network or VPN. Protected accounts and roles cannot be managed through Agent Supervisor. Check the permissions in your test environment before use.
